Hannah's savoury martinis
Feta and watermelon martini
"Adding feta to a martini might feel like quite a rogue decision, but we only do it for a couple of hours in the fridge and it gives the vodka a savoury, slightly creamy edge. Adding a little bit of lemon peel really lifts it as well and then when you add it to the watermelon it stops it from being too sweet but still mega refreshing."
Caprese salad martini
"You've got the tomato and basil flavours and the little bit of creaminess from the mozzarella brine which I think works really well with the savouries in the gin. It's a very nice, savoury tomato martini based on a delicious summer salad."
Filthy pintxo martini
"Some may say that I've gone too far with the brine, but I disagree – I think it's delicious. I used a 50:50 mix of olive and pickled chilli brine, so it's got a slightly spicy kick."
Gazpacho martini
"It definitely does taste like gazpacho, but adding the other ingredients like vermouth, olive brine, the hot sauce and the gin turns it into a lovely savoury tomato martini."
