
Tequila and watermelon frosé

This frozen cocktail is summer in a drink – save a wedge of watermelon to garnish for ultimate holiday vibes

- 750ml rose wine
- 600g watermeloncut into chunks, plus extra slices to garnish
- 50ml lime juiceplus a lime wedge for serving
- 50ml agave syrup
- 200ml tequila
- Tajin or chilli salt
Method
step 1
Pour the wine into a large shallow container or baking dish that fits into your freezer. Freeze for 4 hrs. Freeze the watermelon chunks alongside for at least 2 hrs.

Scrape the frozen wine (it will have a slushy texture) and watermelon into a blender, then add the lime juice, agave and tequila, and blitz until smooth.
step 3
Run a lime wedge around the rims of six margarita glasses. Scatter some Tajín onto a saucer and dip in the rims to coat. Pour the watermelon frosé into the glasses and garnish with watermelon slices to serve.
